Seaman is a village in Scott Township, Adams County, Ohio, United States.

Seaman is adjoining to Ohio State Route 32, a four lane divided highway known as the Appalachian Highway.

Seaman is served by North Adams High School, the Adams County/Ohio Valley School District, and the North Adams Public Library, a branch of the Adams County Public Library.

Seaman is also home to the Adams County Regional Medical Center, a county hospital assembled in 2007.

Seaman was laid out in 1888 when the barns was extended to that point. The village was titled after the small-town Seaman family. According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the village has a total region of 1.07 square miles (2.77 km2), all land. There were 425 housing units at an average density of 397.2 per square mile (153.4/km2).

There were 368 homeholds of which 36.7% had kids under the age of 18 living with them, 47.3% were married couples living together, 17.1% had a female homeholder with no husband present, 4.6% had a male homeholder with no wife present, and 31.0% were non-families.
