Moraine is a town/city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States.

The populace was 6,307 at the 2010 census. The town/city is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Montgomery County.

Moraine, as part of the Dayton area, is situated inside the Miami Valley region of Ohio, just north of the Cincinnati urbane area.

As of April 2011, GM Moraine Assembly was awaiting federal approval of a sale from Motors Liquidation Company to Downey, California-based Industrial Realty Group (IRG), which plans to redevelop the site for multiple commercial and industrialized tenants. Moraine is served by a council-manager form of government, where a seven-member town/city council appoints a experienced town/city manager, who serves as the administrative head of the city.
